What are Gabions?  Gabions are construction
elements of different shape and size, made of
hexagonal wire netting, filled with earth and
stone. They are alternative solution to concrete
structures applicable in construction of road and
railway embankments, bridges, retaining walls,
channel lining and river training works, rockfall
protection, erosion control and slope
stabilization.

PRODUCT RANGE:

1) GABION ECO-BASKETS
- gabion structures of rectangular box shape. We offer them with standard dimensions of 1m width
or “jumbo” of 2m width. Inner space is divided by diaphragms with 1m distance between each other.
The standard mesh size for eco-baskets is 80*100 mm. The eco-baskets are delivered pressed on
pallets.

The dimensions of eco-baskets can be adjusted according to customer’s wish.

2) GABION ECO-BASKETS COMBINED WITH ANCHORING NETTING
- used for soil reinforcement in construction of mechanically stabilized earth walls and slopes as
versatile modular system. The structure consists of gabion eco-basket with dimensions 2*1*0,5 m or
2*1*1 m and of anchoring hexagonal wire netting strip from 3 do 6 m long.

3) GABION ECO-MATTRESSES
- similar to eco-baskets but with lower height. The area dimension is dominating. By standard they
are made of netting with mesh size 60*80 mm. After filling with stones they are covered by same
area panels or by netting from rolls.

4) GABION ECO-SACKS
- gabion eco-sack is created by one sheet of gabion panel that is edged by steel wire for easier
closing after filling with rocks. Eco-sacks are suitable for application in heavily accessible locations,
at river beds and banks works.

5) PROTECTIVE ECO-NETTING
- used for slope protection as rockfall netting. The parameters are the same as shown in the table
for Hexagonal Wire Netting, delivered in rolls.

6) ASSEMBLY ELEMENTS
C-rings – used for final assembly of gabion structures by the means of mechanical or pneumatic
staplers.
