What are Gabions?  Gabions are construction
elements of different shape and size, made of
hexagonal wire netting, filled with earth and
stone. They are alternative solution to concrete
structures applicable in construction of road
and railway embankments, bridges, retaining
walls, channel lining and river training works,
rockfall protection, erosion control and slope
stabilization.

This line is used for the gabion
production from the rolls of the
hexagonal wire netting.  This line
could be adapted to be able to
produce the gabions of the
different dimensions in
accordance to the customer's
requirements.

The technological process of the
gabion production is as follows:
- straightening and cutting of the
     faces
- straightening and cutting of the
     gabion sheets
- winding (reinforcement) of the
     sheet cut ends
- gabion face cut end twisting-
     preparation for the fixation
     machine
- fixation of the faces to the
sheets
- bending of the gabions
- compacting and packaging of  
     the gabions
